Manchester United chief executive Omar Berarda is set to celebrate his 150th anniversary by winning the men's and women's league titles in 2028. He has been tasked with leading staff to the 150th anniversary project in 2024. United were founded in 1878 in the name of Newton Heath and Berarda is keen to celebrate the club's 150th anniversary by playing the English game well in three years and reaching the highest level.


 The men's team have experienced their worst home campaign since the 1973-74 relegation season and the women's team have had a tough time getting there, with Chelsea's unbeaten treble winners having to take on them. Berarda said in an interview that it is better to have a goal than not have one.

He said that The 47-year-old player further stated that within our time frame, our club is establishing a series so that we can focus our efforts and energy on the future. In an interview with United's Stand Fanzine, he further said that when asked if the team could win the Premier League title by 2028, he replied that he could definitely win it. 


He further added that we have reached 15th place and although it is an impossible and difficult task, we have set our goal and why not achieve all the goals with our strength? Thus, United's team has decided to celebrate its 150th anniversary and move forward with its game for the 2028 title.
